• Montague County Youth Fair, early March at the county Agriculture Activities Center, FFA, FHA and 4H stock shows attract participants from north Texas and southern Oklahoma

May

• Nocona Fun Day is held the 3rd Saturday in May. You'll find an Antique car show; motorcycle judging and games; Red River Romp 5K and 1K fun run; Arts & Crafts show; entertainment, food, games; and evening street dance. Sponsored by Nocona Cemetery Association, Rotary Club, and Chamber of Commerce.

June

• Nocona Rodeo Arena is home every June to the Annual Chisolm Trail Rodeo, bringing contestants from near and far. Plans are in the process to enhance and increase utilization of the arena.

September

• Montague County Jubilee - Pony Express riders, relaying mail with special Post Office cancellation stamp, converge from area towns. Food judging, contests, games, music, arts & crafts village, food and fun.

November

• The Junior Jackpot show is held the 1st Saturday in November and attracts participants from north Texas and southern Oklahoma.
